Newton's Laws of Motion :
Newton's Law of Motion
1. Newtons First Law of Motion: Every body continues in its state of rest or of uniform motion in a straight line it is compelled by an external force to change that state.
2. Newtons Second Low of motion : The rate of change of momentum of a body is proportional to the impressed force and takes place in the direction in which the force acts.
3. Newtons Third Law of motion : To every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction.
Newton's first and third laws of motin extensively used to study bodies at rest in
Statics and the forces acting upon them.To study the motion of bodies which have no acceleration.these two laws are used in dynamic.Newton's second law of motion to relate the motion of the body with the forces acting on it ...When bodies having acceleration.
According to Newton's second law of motion,
Force # rate of change of momentum
We know momentum = mass ×velocity
Hence rate of change of momentum =mass×rete of change of velocity
=mass ×acceleration
Thus force mass×acceleration
P=mf
From the expression,we can define the unit force, which required to produce unit acceleration in a body of unit mass.
If a force 'P' acts on a body of mass m moving with acceleration 'f' then...
* P= mf..
Momentum is a vector quantity.
1. Law of Conservation of Momentum.
2. Angular Momentum.

● Momentum : This is the product of the mass of a body and it's velocity. Mathematically momentum=mass × velocity.
If the unit of mass is consider in kg and velocity in m/s, then the unit of momentum will be kg - m/s.Momentum is a vector quantity.
